Mary A. (Klaren) Ridgely, 78, of Earlville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Regional Medical Center, Manchester, on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville. Private graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.
Mary was born Jan. 2, 1939, in Worthington, Iowa, the daughter of Sylvester M. and Delores (Schwers) Klaren. She was a graduate of Earlville High School. On Sept. 24, 1964, Mary married Clarence R. "Buck" Ridgely. Mary enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, growing flowers and feeding birds. She loved spending time with family.
Mary is survived by her son, Eric Klaren (special friend Lisa Wullweber); stepchildren, David (Carla) Ridgely, Dan (Claudia) Ridgely and Karla (John) Myers; two grandchildren, Natasha (Kraig) Steger and Kyle (Kaylin) Klaren; one great-grandchild, Jack Steger; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buck; and sister, Jean (Jack) Gibson.
