Mary E. McCarty, 91, of Oelwein, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at Grand-view Health Care Center in Oelwein. Funeral Mass: 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, with a rosary service at 2 p.m. and a parish Scripture service at 5:30 p.m., both on Sunday.
Memorials may be directed in her name to Sacred Heart Rosary Society in Oelwein.
