Mary Marler passed away on Jan. 19, 2023, at the age of 91, in Cedar Rapids. She was born in Dysart, Iowa, on June 11, 1931, the daughter of George and Anna Hay. Mary was married to William Marler in 1986 in Tampa, Fla., where she made her home.
Mary was a registered nurse having graduated from Mercy Hospital School of nursing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1952 and retiring from nursing in 1992, after serving 40 years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mary is survived by three children, Theresa (Richard) Thomas of Cedar Rapids, Diana Ealy (Patrick Wedmore) of Belle Plaine, Iowa, and Thomas Koeppen of Belle Plaine, Iowa; sister, Corinne Holland of Zephyrhills, Fla.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother.
