MARY KATHERINE LUBBOCK
Cedar Rapids
Mary Katherine Lubbock, 96, passed away peacefully Feb. 2, 2017, in Pasadena, Calif.
She lived nearly all her life in Cedar Rapids and attended Polk Elementary and Franklin High School.
She is survived by her sister, Margery Glick; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Cleffman of Muscatine, Iowa; a brother, R. Alan Lubbock; and a sister-in-law, Jean Lubbock.
Mary was employed by Rockwell Collins as an electrical inspector, retiring after 40 years.
She was a longtime member of Central Park Church, later Echo Hill Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed the Forum, Sunday School and the V.I.P. luncheon group. Mary traveled extensively, liked to read and attend the Cedar Rapids theater, symphony and opera.
A service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to any of the Cedar Rapids arts organizations or Echo Hill Presbyterian Church.
