Mary (Lazenby) Landergott, 95, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2022. She graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing. She was a nurse for over 40 years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She received awards and accolades for her work as a nurse. Her time as an nurse was something she was the most proud of. Her compassion and caring for others stemmed even further than her being a nurse. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Landergott; brother, Charles Lazenby; and her great-grandson, Blaine Schulz.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Landergott Schulz; son, Mark Landergott; and her niece, Judith Telenson.
Her joys of life were her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother and will be missed by all of her family.
Memorial contributions for Mary can be made to the IBF foundation (www.insaneoblaineo.com) in memory of her grandson, Blaine Schulz, who passed at the young age of 25 of asthma complications.
