Mary Jo (Jodi) Aldrich was born April 29, 1950, in Anamosa, Iowa. She was the daughter of Walter and Darlene Rohwedder. Jodi grew up on their family farm in Jones County, Iowa with her siblings, Gary and Jan. Jodi married her high school sweetheart, Kit M. Aldrich, and she gave birth to a daughter, Jennifer. Jodi was also blessed with two grandchildren. She has had many occupations, but her favorite was being a poet and writer. Jodi authored a children’s book, and it was published.
She is survived by her two siblings, Gary (Chris) Rohwedder and his family; and younger sister Jan (Steve) Rushford with her family. Jodi is also survived by her daughter and two grandchildren, as well as other extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Darlene Rohwedder and her husband, Kit M. Aldrich along with additional extended family members.
Out of respect for Jodi’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no memorial services for her. Any and all memorials will be donated to St. Croix Hospice in her honor.
