Mary Jean Hemesath, 85,
of Ryan, Iowa, passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, at the ABCM East Care Center in Independence.
Survivors include her three children, Julie Williams of Valley City, N.D., Lori (William) Lyness of Rowley and Kevin (Jeanine) Mott of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Dalton Williams, Abby (Jeremy) Mullin, Alecia (Shane) Williams, Adam (Morgan) Lyness, Emily Mott, Logan Mott and Moriah Mott; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Cosbohn of Texas.

Because of COVID-19, masks are recommended at the funeral home.
Memorial service: 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, Iowa, with Pastor Rhea Evanson officiating. Visitation: 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
