Mary Carolyn Hogg, 64, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on the evening of March 10, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by her siblings and other family members. She had been admitted to St. Luke's in the early morning hours of March 8 with severe acute pancreatitis.
Mary is survived by her sister, Barb Hogg Chrabaszcz of Kenilworth, Ill.;, and brothers, Allen Hogg of Downers Grove, Ill., and Rob Hogg of Cedar Rapids and their families.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 22, at Christ Episcopal Church, 220 40th St. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. A livestream of the service will also be available at www.facebook.com/
ChristEpiscopalCR. After the service, a reception will be held at the church. So that all feel comfortable attending, wearing masks is requested at the service and reception. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center, 120 Boyson Rd., Hiawatha, IA 52233.
