MARY HASBROUCK Cedar Rapids Mary Louise "Babe" Hasbrouck, 89, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, surrounded by her family. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at St. Ludmila Catholic Church. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her children, Louise (Edwin) Neumann of Cedar Rapids, Kathy Palzkill of Cedar Rapids, Thomas (Camille) Hasbrouck of Sourlake, Texas, James Hasbrouck of Cedar Rapids, Paul Hasbrouck of Monroe, Iowa, Donald (Deb) Hasbrouck of Marion and Charles (Kathy) Hasbrouck of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Scott, Amy, Tammy, Matthew, Steven, David, Ryan, Erin, Brian, Michael, Thomas, Jason, Adam, Anthony, Dawn, Michelle, Alicia, Tonya, Natausha, Jennifer and Stephanie; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Richard Neises; sisters, Valeria Letendre and Kathryn Larson; three great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Ronald Palzkill; and daughter-in-law, Carol Hasbrouck. Mary was born in Wadena, Minn., on Oct. 27, 1926, the daughter of Simon and Adelaide Neises. She was united in marriage to Donald Hasbrouck on June 2, 1949, in Cass Lake, Minn. Mary was a homemaker and a member of St. Ludmila Catholic Church, St. Anne's Circle and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed family, cards, doing crosswords, cooking and enjoyed all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. The family extends a special thanks to Hospice of Mercy.
