Mary S. "Sue" Gruenloh, 76, of Marion, died peace-fully while wintering in Port Aransas, Texas, on Feb. 14, 2014. Visitation will be at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 2 to 6 p.m., with a Scripture service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marion. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Sue was born March 30, 1937, in St. Charles, Mo., the daughter of Francis and Katherine (Jenkins) Morgan. She married Robert Gruenloh on Aug. 26, 1961, in University City, Mo. Their children are Martha (Duane) Beaudry, Theresa (Dave) Fry, Thomas (Pamela) Gruenloh and Edward (Laurel) Gruenloh.
She enjoyed sewing, needlework, square dancing and traveling.
Sue is survived by her husband, children, 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three sisters.
