MARY ANN FEHLING

Mary Ann Fehling, 85, of Clarence, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at UnityPoint Hospice (St. Luke's) in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence, by
Pastor Tommi Boeder. Burial: St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
Born Dec. 26, 1929, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Rehmke) Evers, she married Richard Fehling on April 9, 1949, in Clarence. He died March 25, 1980.
Mary Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Clarence Motor Co. and Strackbeins, Inc. She also was a charter member of the Sunday Night Singles, where she served as treasurer for three years.
Survivors include her brothers, Darrell (Glenda) Evers of DeWitt and Marvin of Cedar Rapids; sister-in-law, Kathy Evers of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Frederick; and special companion, Walter Wiebke.
