Mary C. Pahl, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away October 29, 2025. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Funeral Service for Mary will follow at 11 AM. Entombment will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mary was born on March 25, 1934, in Allamakee County, Iowa, the daughter of Edward F. and Eva Mae (Colvin) Fish. She was united in marriage to Roger A. Pahl on January 1, 1954, in Locust, Iowa. Mary worked as an inspector at Rockwell Collins, retiring in 1989. She was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids and participated in many church activities. Mary had served as a Boy Scout Leader. She also enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Faith) Pahl of Cedar Rapids; sister, Elvina Knox of Blaine, Minn.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Roger in 2013; daughter Karla Pahl; son, Brian Pahl, three brothers; and three sisters.
The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to Corridor Crossing Place and Essence of Life Hospice for the exceptional care that was given to Mary.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
