Mary Ann Fall, 82, of Olin passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Winslow House Care Center in Marion.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Dawson Funeral Services in Olin. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Dawson Funeral Services. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery, rural Anamosa.
Mary Ann was born on February 10, 1942 in Sioux Falls, SD to Clarence and Ruth (Gelderman) Barnes. On June 17, 1962 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Verlin Fall, in Stanwood, IA. She attended the Olin United Methodist Church and dedicated over 35 years to the Olin American Legion Auxiliary. Mary was a familiar face at community events, and her love for dancing led her and Verlin to the dance floor every weekend. Country music and all things Elvis brought her joy, but her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family. Mary’s pride in her grandchildren was evident to everyone who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Kimverly (Michael) Harks of Marion, three grandchildren: Benjamin, Lucas, Kelsey; and a sister, Nancy Moore of Panora.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
