Marvyle “Marv” Allan Farland, age 95, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, surrounded by the care and love of his family and the compassionate staff at Oaknoll Retirement Health Center in Iowa City.
A celebration of life will be held this spring, with details shared at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Marv’s honor or to his favorite charity, the Salvation Army.
