Marty "Butch" Willett, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-6 pm on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Eagles Club in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Butch was hard working, dependable and just an all-around great guy. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lisa (Hoffman) Willett; daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Lehnhardt; son Adam (Jackie) Willett; his grandchildren, Ian, River, Reese, Naomi, Olivia and Teal; his mother, Dixie Willett; sisters, Robin (Paul) Morris, Gail "Babe" Martens; his brother Chad (Jody) Willett; and many, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Tony Willett, his sister Laura “Sis” Gilmore and his grandparents Rene and Marie Bazyn.
Butch had a warmth that drew people towards him. He was always quick with a smile and a joke. His joyful presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
