Martinson, Margaret M. 'Marge'
Margaret M. “Marge” Martinson, 84, of Independence, died Saturday morning, March 19, 2011, at Buchanan County Health Center, Independence. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Independence, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time. Inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence. Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her three children, Daniel Martinson, Tina Martinson of Independence and Gary (Janet) Martinson of La Porte City; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a stepgranddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; a daughter-in-law, Valerie Martinson; and a sister, Eleanor Nichols.
