Martin, Robert Earl (Rinehart)
Robert Earl (Rinehart) Martin, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 10, 2010, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ludmila's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by Father Tom McDermott. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where a rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. and a 6 p.m. vigil service. Burial: St. Vincents Cemetery, Riverside, at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Tracy (Russell) Stocker and Linette (Randy) Biery; and six grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.
Born July 15, 1939, in Iowa City, Robert was the son of Robert Rinehart and Robert and Inez (Anderson) Martin. In 1962, Robert was united in marriage to Mary Schwaigert. He worked for Pepsi in vending repair.
Robert's joys were fishing, sports, Wii bowling, the Iowa Hawkeyes and most especially his grandchildren.
