Martin, Lucille
Lucille Martin, 88, died peacefully Feb. 4, 2013, at her home in Iowa City.
She formerly resided in Cedar Rapids, Newport Beach, Calif., and San Jose, Calif., before moving to Iowa City in 2002.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Emil; children: Martha (Stephen Foell), Boston, Mass.; Carol (Khosrow Hedayati), Los Gatos, Calif.; Emily, Iowa City; and David (Gail), College Station, Texas; grandchildren, Hannah Foell, Colleen and Tess Varney, Cyrus and Sarah Hedayati, and Adam and Miles Martin; former son-in-law, Nils Varney; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Struthers and Marguerite Jolly.
The family wishes to thank Cathy Teesdale for loving care and the staff of Hospice of Iowa City for their invaluable assistance.
A family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Iowa City.
