Martha A. Becker, 84, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed peacefully Dec. 6, 2022. Per her wishes, Martha was cremated.
Martha is survived by her four children, Stephen and wife, Jean, both of Cedar Rapids, John F. of Cedar Rapids, Mark C. of Marion and Matthew T. of Bisbee, Ariz.; her niece, Julie Wehde of Davenport; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Joni Coates.
Martha was born Jan. 29, 1939, to Howard and Vera Wehde in Baldwin, Iowa. She married John R. Becker on Jan. 20, 1954, in Johnson County, Iowa. Martha was a homemaker and graduate of Mount Mercy College. She will always be remembered for her deep love of animals.
No services, memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society in Martha's name. Arrangements by Iowa Cremation, Cedar Rapids. Online condolences may be left for the Becker family at www.iowacremation.com under obituaries.
