MARLYS "MARTY" ANN BARRETT

Marlys "Marty" Ann Barrett, 66, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Urbana, Iowa, died Saturday, May 30, 2020. She was cremated and there will be no services.
Marty was born in Cedar Rapids to Duane and Dora Mae Coleman. She graduated from Urbana High School in 1971 and from Kirkwood with an associate's degree in retail marketing. She worked as
a manager at Target and as a branch officer for a loan office.
Marty is survived by her husband, Michael Barrett; children, Kellie (Alex) Logan of Peoria, Ariz., and Krista (Cory) Murphy of San Diego, Calif.; stepchildren, Tony and Terry Barrett of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Todd Barrett of Mesa, Ariz.; grandson, Liam Logan; brothers, David (Tamara) Coleman and Michael (Stephanie) Coleman of Oxford, Iowa; sisters, Carol (John) DePaepe of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Judy (Dean) Darling of Marion, Iowa; mother, Dora Mae Coleman of Urbana; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Coleman.
