Marlys Lien, 82, of Decorah, Iowa, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at the Springfield Lutheran Church, 1969 Middle Calmar Rd., Decorah. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Marlys is survived by three sons, Gary (Patty) Lien, Calmar, Iowa, Scott (Sally) Lien, Newport Beach, Calif., and Kris (Pamela) Lien, Sheldon, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Kari, Aaron, Megan and Mikayla Lien, Isaac Lien and Taylor and Shayla Lien; son-in-law, Gary Rausch, Decorah; one sister, Mary (John) Jensen, College Place, Wash.; one brother, Bill (Barbara) Wilkens, Franklin, N.C.; sisters-in-law, (Jeanie) Wilkens, St. Joseph, Minn., Viola Linderbaum, Ossian, Iowa, Celia (Harold) Stoen, Highlandville, Iowa, and Helen Thune, Davenport, Iowa; and brothers-in-law, Ray (Aurora) Lien, Orlando, Fla., and Harold (Janice) Lien, Rochester, Minn.
