Marleen "M.L." Curry, 93, of Oskaloosa, passed away Thursday evening, April 16, 2015, at the Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice Serenity House.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Betty, M.L. was preceded in death by a brother, Berdette, and a sister, Roberta.
A graveside funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, at Forest Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Wittern of Central United Methodist Church officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Oskaloosa Honor Guard. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., with a procession to form at that time to travel to the cemetery. The cemetery's North 11th Street entrance should be used by those not meeting at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 34 or MHP Hospice Serenity House.
