Mark Zwanziger, 72, died Nov. 12, 2022. Born in Oelwein and raise in Strawberry Point, he met and married Marilyn Scovel of Lamont, and they lived in Strawberry Point for the entirety of their 45-year marriage. Together, they have two children, Summer and Alec, and are blessed with four grandchildren, Quinn, Rory, Mason and Jazmine. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie and his brother-in-law Bill Lee. At his request, there will be no services. Memorials may be given in his memory to Mayo Clinic for kidney research. Mark had a deep understanding and appreciation for organ donation; his final gift to this world were his corneas.
