Mark Leonard Stewart, 63, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at the Allison Rehab Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services at Brosh Chapel.
Mark was born Nov. 26, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Charles and Mary Ann (Sykora) Stewart. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1970.
Mark enjoyed watching and collecting stats on all types of sports. Among the teams he followed were the Hawkeyes, Cubs and the Bears.
Mark is survived by his siblings, Matthew (Patty) Stewart of South Amana and Kathy Mizner of Fairfax; nieces, Sara (Richard) Reed and Shelly (Damian) Hunter; nephew, Scott Mizner; and great-nieces, Tiffany, April, Gracie and Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
