MARK STEPHEN ENGLER

Mark Stephen Engler, 72, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 29, at St. Luke The Evangelist Catholic Church in Ankeny, Iowa.
Mark was born the son of James Charles and Georgina Engler on March 8, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a graduate of Regis High School. Following his studies, Mark went on to pursue his love of photography and videography.
He is survived by his beloved son, James Charles Engler, and his wife, Annette, and their daughter, Kaia of Ankeny; five siblings, Mike Engler (Diane), Terry Lynn Engler, Tom Engler, Greg Engler (Teri) and Lesley Carlson; and a former spouse, Laura Engler.
He was preceded into eternal life by his parents.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Memorial Services of Iowa in Ankeny. Memorial contributions will be donated to Medicine for Mali, Inc.
