MARK L. RAE
Cedar Falls
Mark L. Rae, 69, of Cedar Falls, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospice, Cedar Rapids, on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, with his loving family at his side. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Private services will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his devoted sister and caregiver, Mary Rae of Cedar Falls; brothers, Russell Rae of Central City and David Rae of Portland, Ore.; sisters, Susie Powers, Gail (Larry) Blum and Kathy Murdoch, all of Marion, and Laura Rae of Chiang Mai, Thailand; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen L. Rae; and his nephew, Brett Murdoch.
Mark had a delightful sense of humor, a very compassionate heart and brought joy to many. He will be missed.
The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospice for their compassionate care, especially Dawn.
We will see you again, dear Mark.
