Mark A. Peska, 48, of Marengo, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, following a sudden illness. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Marengo. Burial: Calvary Cem-etery.Visitation: 4 to 7
p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.
A general memorial fund has been established.
Mark is survived by his wife, Marina Peska of Moscow, Russia; his son, Marcus (Britani) of Cabot, Ark.; a granddaughter, Isabella Davies of Cabot, Ark.; his mother, Cynthia Peska of Marengo; a brother, Mike (Robin) of Marengo; 13 nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Dawn Erger Peska of Cedar Rapids.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Delbert; two daughters, Jillian and Justine; and two nephews, Christopher and Jared.
