MARK LEFEVRE

Mark Stephen Lefevre, 64, of Marion, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 6, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, with a Scripture service beginning at 7 p.m. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, N.D., at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Emily; children, Michelle and Matthew, both at home; three sisters, Barbara (Doug) Whittmore of Beaverton, Ore., Debra (Gary) Harstad of Absarokee, Mont., and Jennifer (James) Drew of Jamestown, N.D.; and five brothers, Robert Lefevre of Jamestown, N.D., Christopher Lefevre of Billings, Mont., Richard (Donna) Lefevre of Jamestown, N.D., Jay (Roxanne) Lefevre of Billings, Mont., and Jeff (Barbara) Lefevre of Billings, Mont.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas.
Mark was born Sept. 2, 1950, in Jamestown, N.D., the son of Charles and Elaine (Paiement) Lefevre. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1969 and married Emily Ann Rindt on Oct. 9, 1976, in Jamestown. Mark was a general agent with Knights of Columbus Insurance before owning and operating Deep Clean Carpet and Upholstery Service.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marion.
