Mark Herdliska, 66, of Norway, Iowa, passed away Friday July 12, 2024, at Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, 11:00am at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am, prior to the service, at the Chapel. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include; his wife of 27 years, Julie M. Herdliska, sisters, Julie Kay Herdliska and Terri (Scott) Kilts, brother, John A. Herdliska, stepsons, Terry Minick and Scott (JoAnn) Campbell along with twelve grandchildren, three nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
Mark was born August 16, 1957, in Cedar Rapids to parents John M. and Lois Herdliska. He retired from over-the-road trucking after 35 years of driving as an owner/operator. Prior to that Mark worked for the city of Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed snow skiing and traveled to historical sites, especially being a NASA enthusiast. Enjoyed playing cards with family and tinkering with his car interests.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
