Mark E. Rundall, 64, a resident of Mechanicsville Specialty Care, Mechanicsville, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died at the care center Saturday evening,
Aug. 4, 2018.
Memorial services for Mark will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 Second St. SE,
with the Rev. Lecil Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
Mark is survived by his two daughters, Melanie (Rick) Hanlon and Michelle (Jeff) Pappas, both of Cedar Rapids; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Sr. and Shirley (Fields) Rundall; stepbrothers, Don Jr. and Kim Rundall; and his grandparents, George Sr. and Ruth Fields.
Mark was born Oct. 1, 1953, in Iowa City and lived most of his life in Cedar Rapids. He married Maria Hanlon on Dec. 7, 1970. They were later divorced.
He loved playing the guitar and had been a member of several bands.
The past five years, Mark courageously had fought against multiple sclerosis and at last his battle is over.
Mark will be missed by his family and friends very much.
