Mark Childs, 65, died Dec. 27, 2018, at Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, surrounded by his family. He was born June 2, 1953, to Herbert and Lillian Childs in Cedar Rapids.
Mark is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Robert (Melissa), Justin (Sofia) and Carrie (Doug); 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Steven and Michael (Hattilee); sister-in-law, Sandra Childs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry; and sister, Sherry.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m. in the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, 4200 First Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
