Mark C. Ganske, 45, of Marion, Iowa, passed peacefully to heaven on Saturday morning, March 12, 2022, at his mother's home in Marion, with his family by his side, after bravely battling cancer in his youth and again for the past five years.
Memory sharing: 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein. Gathering of family and friends: 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein. Final resting place: Oak Shade Cemetery,

Mark drove school bus for the Cedar Rapids Community School District for 10 years.
Mark is survived by his mother, Diana Ganske of Marion; father, Paul Ganske of Oelwein; two sisters, Cyndi Shaffer of Marion and Lisa (Scott) Langerman of Cedar Rapids; brother, Stephen Neubauer of Davison, Mich.; seven nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and several lifelong friends.
