MARJORIE PELZER Tipton Marjorie L. Pelzer, 87, of Tipton, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Marjorie was being comforted by friends and family and the very caring, professional team at Cedar Manor. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. Graveside committal services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Tipton. There will be a luncheon in Marjorie's honor at St. Mary's Catholic Hall, Tipton, immediately following graveside services. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a rosary preceding at 3:30 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. A memorial fund has been established. Marge is survived by her nine children: son, Jim (Mary) Pelzer, Tipton; son, Tom (Brenda) Pelzer, Sheridan, Wyo.; daughter, Nanette (Wayne) Behrens, Atalissa; son, Joe (Bonnie) Pelzer, Irrigon, Ore.; son, Ed (Molly) Pelzer, Tipton; daughter, Mary (Maury) Moser, Amana; son, John (Cindy) Pelzer, Bennett; daughter, Peggy (Mike) Murphy, Marion; and son, David Pelzer, Iowa City; sister, Helen (Cyril) Costello, Davenport; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mayme; husband, Paul; sister, Kay Miller; and grandson; Jacob Murphy.
