Marjorie L. Miller, 76, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Family will receive relatives and friends one hour before the service starting at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Marge was born in Waterville, Iowa, to Erving and Rita Lestina Hartong on April 18, 1940. She grew up on a farm in Waterville.
On July 5, 1962, she married Ronald Miller and to this union two daughters were born. The couple moved to Cedar Rapids. She worked at Norland for several years, but most of her life was spent at home taking care of her family.
Marge will be missed by her children, Rhonda (Dan) Hartman of Marion and Brenda (Ryan) Greene of Vinton; sisters, Vivian Iverson, Bernadine (Emmet) Jones and Barb (Dennis) Nebendahl; grandchildren, Nathan and Brandon Trunecek, Justin Parmenter and Abraham and Roxanne Johnson; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald; and granddaughter, Jessica Parmenter.
