Marjorie Marie Kline, 78, of Robins, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Northbrook Manor in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at 6 p.m., immediately following the visitation in the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marjorie was born Nov. 29, 1939, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Mary Hopping. She was united in marriage to David Kline on April 7, 1958, in Riverside, Iowa. Marjorie was employed at Rockwell Collins as an administrative assistant. She proudly retired in 2002. She enjoyed attending the Iowa football games with friends and family. Marjorie loved traveling to Colorado and spending time admiring the mountains. Her greatest joy in life was the time spent with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to cherish Marjorie's memory is her beloved husband of 62 years, David; three sons, Eric (Michelle), Justin (Danielle) and Kevin (Janice); and eight grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; and sister and brothers-in-laws, Hazel (Tom) Lombardi, Edna (Eldon) Yeggy and Gladys (Lyndon) Burris.
The family would like to thank all the staff of Northbrook Manor for the wonderful care and kindness given to Marjorie the last several weeks.
