Marjorie Jane Leach, 92,
of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids. She was born Aug. 9, 1928, in Postville, Iowa, the daughter of William and Anna (Baltz) Gentz. Marjorie graduated from Luana (Iowa) High School, with the Class
of 1945.
She worked at Collins Community Credit Union for 29 and-a-half years, retiring
in 1993. Marjorie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and
-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings, Agnes Schulte, Mary Radloff, Bill Gentz, Hester McQuire, LuAnn George, Rita Doerring and an infant brother.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, with the Rev. Daniel Krueger officiating. A livestream of the memorial service may be accessed on the funeral home website tribute page for Marjorie, under "photos and videos or media," starting at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Inurnment will take place at Shiloh Cemetery in Hiawatha. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
