MARJORIE I. ELY STONECIPHER

Marjorie I. Ely Stonecipher, 90, of Moses Lake, Wash., and formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at her home in Moses Lake.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Ridgewood Cemetery, North Liberty, where family and friends may gather to speak of their love for her. Following the graveside service, all are invited to meet at Reds Alehouse, North Liberty.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Cherie I. Perry, Michelle I. Goodman and Rebecca Jo Stonecipher; five grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linds L. Selgasted; brother, William Ely; sister, Sally Guffey; and parents, Joseph and Hazel Ely.
Marjorie was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she often returned to attend her high school reunions. She did private-duty nursing in California. She loved California, margaritas, her flowers and her family. She was a lifetime member of the Eagles, where she was past madam president. Up to the end of her life, she was a member of the Washington Flying Farmers.
The family wishes to thank Rebecca Jo for being so faithful in caring and enabling our mother to die at home in her own bed like she wanted.
