Marjean Meyer, 91, formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at her home at Arbor Lakes Senior Living in Maple Grove, Minn.
Marjean taught in Marshalltown for more than 35 years both at Rogers Elementary and Glick Elementary. While not teaching, she was an avid reader and traveler, her favorite spot being Nuremberg, Germany, to shop the Christmas markets.
Per the wishes of Marjean and her family, cremation rites have been accorded under the care of the Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Home in Maple Grove. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, Sept. 28, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa, at 10:30 a.m. A memorial visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for later designation. Final resting place for Marjean will be at the Keystone Cemetery with her mother and father.
