Marisa LeAnn Doolin, 18, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.

Marisa was born on Oct. 15, 2002, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Kimberly (Hepker) and Burdell Doolin Sr. She graduated from Metro High School. Marisa enjoyed getting dressed up and doing her hair and nails. She loved taking care of kids and spending time with her family; she looked up to her older cousin, Tasia. Marisa was fiercely independent and kept mostly to herself. Although her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed, Marisa is still giving life as an organ donor.

Survivors include her mother, Kimberly Doolin (Jay Seward) of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Jonathon Brown, Garson Hiles, Jordan Doolin, Kayle Doolin, Burdell Doolin Jr., Zachary Doolin, Marcos Doolin, Morena Doolin and Christian Doolin; uncles, Jeremy Hepker, and his daughter, Tasia Hepker, Jeff (Sue) Henderson and James "Zeke" (Corina) Hepker Jr.; aunt, Jeri (Traci) Henderson; several cousins and extended family members; and special friend, Jiggy Ayers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Burdell Doolin Sr.; grandmother, Janice Hepker; and grandfather, James Hepker.
