Marion C. Manternach, 86, of 414 Sixth Ave, NW, Cascade, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at 2:40 a.m. at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade. Friends and relatives of Marion may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, where a wake service will be held at 4 p.m. Services for Marion will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 27, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Cascade.
She is survived by seven children, Mike (Michelle) Manternach of Blue Grass, Mark Manternach of Cascade, Steve (Kathy Solko) Manternach and Connie (Bruce) Page, both of Nevada, Iowa, Brent (Ruth) Manternach of Worthington, Karla Manternach (partner Curtis Bloes) of Sac City and Leslie Manternach of Dubuque; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Louie (Betty) Leibold of Cascade, James "Bouncer" Leibold of Clear Water, Kan., and Leona (Bob) Buckley of El Cajon, Calif.
