MARILYN PEARL VAN FLEET

Marilyn Pearl Van Fleet was born March 17, 1928, in Keota, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd Everette and Pearl Edna (Brock) Baumert. Marilyn was united in marriage to the love of her life, Charles Keith Van Fleet, in 1947. Marilyn passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the age of 90 years.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Bill) Toomer of Marion, Everette (Jean) Van Fleet of Geneseo, Ill., and Jerilyn (Les) Lehs of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a sixth waiting to be born; two sisters; and three brothers.
She was preceded by her parents, husband and nine siblings.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Powell Funeral Home, North English. Burial will be in the North English Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
