MARILYN MILLER WHITMORE MORSE

Marilyn Miller Whitmore Morse, 73, of Marion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, June 8, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A celebration of life and committal service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Christ Episcopal Church, 220 40th St. NE, Cedar Rapids. A committal to the columbarium will be during the service. A luncheon will follow.
Survivors include her husband, Victor Morse; children, Sue (Todd) Rizzio of Marion, Abby Whitmore of Lombard, Ill., and Rachel (Brad) Neyens and Rebecca (Dale) Schirmer, both of Cedar Rapids; stepchildren, Joyce, Tim and Mary; a sister, Judith Heady; and grandchildren, Jason, Nakita, Ashley, Matthew, Brandon, Alexis, Samantha, Tammy, Charleigh, Vivian and Eliza.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John Whitmore; stepchildren, Anne and Victor L.; and brother, Steven.
Marilyn was born in St. Louis to Rachel and John Robert Miller on July 11, 1944. She went to school at Lisbon High School. She married John A. Whitmore on June 27, 1967. John passed away in May 1980. She married Victor Morse on Dec. 29, 1998. She worked for many years as an LPN.
Memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church in care of the Marilyn Morse Family.
