MARILYN LOUISE (ASCHIM) MEYTHALER

Marilyn Louise (Aschim) Meythaler, 81, of Ridgeway, formerly of Cedar Rapids, went to her rest on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Peace Lutheran Church in Ridgeway with Pastor Garry Birth officiating. Interment will be in United Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ridgeway. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 6, at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, one hour before the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bronchiectasis and NTM Research Registry through the COPD Foundation.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Roger, of Ridgeway; four sons, Dave (Lois) Meythaler of Everett, Wash., Gary (Jennifer) Meythaler of Colbert, Wash., Mark (Amy) Meythaler of Burnsville, Minn., and Glenn (Jolene) Meythaler of Grimes; nine grandchildren, Micah, Emily, Isaac, Jesse, Hannah, Gavin, Brendan, Gretchen and Kerstin; and one sister, Cindy (John) Hoines of Madison Lake, Minn.
