MARILYN MAE (SCHULTE) MAIER
Cedar Rapids
Marilyn was called home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Jan. 6, 2022, after a long struggle with her health.
Marilyn was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and grew up on the family farm in Fairfax, where she developed strong faith in God, a deep appreciation of His creation, and her love for rural living and family life. She lived the last 22 years in Colorado Springs, where she loved the mountains.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia and Eldred Schulte.
She is survived by her husband, Alan; three children, Jennifer (Trish) Fowler, Bryce (Anna) Roberts and Jackie (James) Fernandez; sisters, Lana Schmitz and Joyce Nolte; brother, Eldred Schulte; and four grandchildren, Grace Roberts, Harris Roberts, Annie Jean Fowler and Alan Boyd Fowler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Memorial services will be held at a future date.
