Marilyn Jean Dudley, 88,
of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at West Ridge Care Center in Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service
in Cedar Rapids. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Marilyn was born in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Dec. 26, 1933, the daughter of Cornelious and Bertha (Vanderlinde) Druger. She graduated from Marion High School in 1951. Marilyn was united in marriage to LeRoy Dudley on Aug. 28, 1953, in Marion, Iowa. Prior to her retirement, Marilyn worked in packaging at Quaker Oats. One of Marilyn's passions was crocheting afghans and sharing them with friends and family. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her children, David (Mary) Dudley, Deborah (Robert) Allen and Daniel Dudley; grandchildren, Annette, Angela, Becky, Jamie, Dawn, Amy, Sarah, Bryan, Annalynn and Derrek; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Dudley; parents, Cornelious and Bertha Druger; son, Donald; grandson, Rick Dudley; great-grandson, Brandon Carnes; and brothers, Bud and Raymond Druger.
