Marilyn Elaine Rugg, 86, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Mike Rugg and wife, Jamie; granddaughter, Jeni Crawford and husband, Cody, and family; grandson, Blake Anderson and family; and granddaughter, Jessica Armstrong and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents, Joe and Sara Steege; and her sisters, Nancy and Linda.
Marilyn was born March 15, 1932, in Waterloo. She married Bill Rugg on June 22, 1950, in Cedar Falls. Marilyn worked at Rockwell Collins until her retirement.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in Marilyn's name.
