Marilyn Jo Brose, 81, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Feb. 11, 2014, at her home. Arrangements provided by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. An open house will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at her home.
She is survived by her brother, Jay (Chris) Wolfe; daughters, Karen Mochal and Kathi (Curt) Nelsen of Cedar Rapids; son, Gary (Shelli) Brose of Wayland, Iowa; eight grandchildren and two great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Byron; and son, Larry Taylor.
Marilyn Jo Wolfe was born in Center Point, Iowa, on Oct. 2, 1932, daughter of Marion and Lois Wolfe. She married Byron Brose on Dec. 7, 1962, in Cedar Rapids.
