Marietta Ann Dermody passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, at her home at the age of 83 years.
Marietta is survived by her husband, Arthur of Williamsburg; five children, Linda (Don) Hermanstorfer
of Winterset, Frances (John) Olmsted of Summerfield, N.C., John (Lynn) Dermody of Cypress, Texas, Richard (Kathy) Dermody of Houston, Texas, and David (Laurie) Dermody of Williamsburg; 13 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and three sisters, Norma Fischer of Tell City, Ind., Dorothy Reader of Mountain Home, Ark., and Alice Tritle of Cedar Rapids.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in North English. Father Joseph Roost and Father David Hitch will concelebrate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Parnell. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg, where there will be a prayer service at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are for Iowa City Hospice or St. Joseph Cemetery in Parnell.
