Marie Rozinek Kroul, 88, of Solon, died peacefully in her home on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014. Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Brosh Chapel in Solon, with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brosh Chapel.
Marie was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Solon, the daughter of Alois and Frances Rozinek. She married Roger Kroul on Sept. 8, 1948, in Solon. Marie and Roger farmed in Solon for many years and she was administrative secretary of Solon Schools for 38 years. She was actively involved in many other groups for the town of Solon all of her life. She will be greatly missed by all.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Cindy Menefee; and granddaughter, Samantha Menefee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger; son, Rodney; eight brothers, Joseph, Louis, Victor, George, Frank, Paul, Charles and James; and three sisters, Millie, Rose and Libbie.
