We are sad to announce the passing of Marie Eleanor Carnaby (Byerly) (Hobbs), 79, of Cedar Rapids, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Marie passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Marie is survived by two sons, Daniel (Lisa) Barnett and Don Byerly; daughter, Melissa Carnahan; three grandchildren, Lindsey, Lauren and Leah; and two brothers, Bob (Sharon) Carnaby and Bill (Jody) Richard.
Marie will be remembered for her kindness and compassion. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
